A Guide to SIDHA Writer Mark Wickens, msw@hecnet.eu SIDHA Writer is a word processor for the Epson HX-20. The program is written in a mixture of BASIC and machine code. The machine code elements provide the required performance to ensure that for the most part that the program maintains enough performance to keep up with a good typing speed. SIDHA Writer is written with German commands and instructions. I have translated the commands into English. These are contained in the BASIC portion of the program - look/search for the modified BASIC program Writer06En.Bas General Instructions -------------------- Once installed the program starts in 'Command Mode', indicated by the letter 'B' on the left-hand side of the status line which is displayed on the top line of the HX-20 display. A list of commands available can be generated by pressing 'H'. Two other modes are available: Command 'E' selects input mode. Use this mode to enter new text. Command 'K' selects edit mode. Use this mode to edit previously .When in command mode you can use the SCRN and SHIFT-SCRN to scroll through the text, as well as the arrow keys. If you need to edit some text scroll to the text so that it is displayed on the screen then enter Edit mode using the 'K' command. entered text.
